Online CPR Certification

Can I get CPR certified online?

There are no legitimate online CPR certification programs.

However, you can do most of the book work online and come in for a short skills check off!

Most “free CPR certification” classes are also going to be somewhat of a scam. CPR certification through an online, free website is not going to provide the hands-on practice needed to become proficient in providing CPR.

American Heart Association instructor is almost guaranteed to be accepted by your employer and teach you the most up-to-date standards of CPR. You will learn the basics of adult, child, and infant CPR/AED use as well as choking relief. If you would like to know the difference between BLS and CPR, click here

Finding a CPR certification class near you can be tricky. Google maps and Apple maps can show you the nearest one to your house, but it can be difficult to find a time that works for you. Use the American Heart Association’s class finder tool here. All you need is your zip code and it will show you many classes near you!

Becoming CPR certified can be the difference between life and death for so many people. If an individual suffers from cardiac arrest and does not receive chest compressions and early defibrillation, their chances of survival plummet drastically! The more properly trained and certified individuals there are in the world, the better the odds! You never know when a loved one could fall victim to cardiac arrest, choking, drowning, or more. Having the skills to be able to take charge is all the difference.

Sign up for a CPR class today here! After the class, you will receive an email with your American Heart Association eCard showing verification that you attended and passed the course! It can be printed as a full page or wallet sized card for your convenience. CPR Saves Lives!
